At the same time, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted severe cold in seven states. According to the statement issued by the department, there will be cold wave conditions in western Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan for the next two days.

During the next two days, dense fog will occur in the morning and evening with cold wave at isolated places over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. On the other hand, a similar situation is expected in eastern Uttar Pradesh for the next three days.

On Sunday, it was freezing cold in Haryana due to cloudy sky and drop in minimum temperature. Due to the holiday and the cold on Sunday, people stayed indoors. Get out of the house for essential works. In Jind district, the maximum temperature of the day was 15 and the minimum temperature was 6 degrees. Light sunshine came out for some time in the afternoon. But there was no relief from the cold.

On the other hand, the minimum temperature in Haryana’s Narnaul (Mahendragarh) was recorded at 5.6 degree Celsius. While Sirsa recorded a minimum temperature of 6.8 degree Celsius. On Sunday, turmeric sheets of fog were seen in most of the districts of the state. Due to which the people suffered a lot.

Visibility was very low due to fog in many districts of Haryana in the morning. Haryana Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of fog with severe cold in the coming days. The Meteorological Department has issued a cold wave alert in Haryana.
