New Delhi, ANI. Amidst the outcry of Corona in the country, a relief news has come out today. In the last 24 hours, 2,58,089 new cases of corona have been reported in the country, which is 13,113 less than yesterday.
Along with this, there has also been an increase in people recovering from corona. According to information received from the Union Health Ministry, in the last 24 hours in India, 1,51,740 corona patients have been cured and 385 people have died. This is the first time in the third wave that there has been such a decrease in corona cases in 24 hours. Now the total number of active cases of corona has increased to 16,56,341. Talking about those recovering from Corona, this figure has reached 3,52,37,461. The total deaths across the country now stands at 4,86,451.
Omicron cases continue to rise
On the other hand, there is a steady increase in the cases of Omicron. The total cases of Omicron in the country have gone up to 8,209. At the same time, it had a total of 7,743 cases till Sunday.

The total number of vaccination doses in the country has reached 1,57,20,41,825. Let us tell you that yesterday only one year of vaccination campaign against corona virus has been completed.
