A look at Lakmal’s career

Suranga Lakmal’s international career started with the ODI series against India in 2009. Lakmal made his debut against India in Nagpur in December 2009. About a year later, in November 2010, he made his Test debut against the West Indies, while his international T20 career began in 2011. Lakmal has played a total of 68 Test matches so far, in which 168 wickets have come in his account. He took 5 wickets in an innings 4 times. At the same time, in 86 ODIs, Lakmal took 109 wickets, while in 11 T20s he got only 8 wickets. Against India, Lakmal took 8 wickets in 2 Tests, 9 wickets in 11 ODIs, while he did not get any success in the only T20.
