New Delhi, 30 January. The country has recorded a new record in the ongoing vaccination campaign against the corona virus. So far, India has achieved the target of administering both doses of the vaccine to 75 per cent of its adult population under the vaccination program that began in January 2021.

This good news was tweeted by Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Sunday. At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi retweeted Mandaviya’s tweet and congratulated the country for this achievement.

PM Modi wrote in his tweet,

75% of all adults have been fully immunized. Congratulations to our countrymen for this important achievement. Proud of all those who are making our vaccination campaign a success.

Significantly, many countries of the world including India are facing the outbreak of corona virus epidemic for the last two years. India is currently going through the third wave of Kovid-19, although this time due to vaccination, the epidemic did not create as much panic as the second wave. The vaccination campaign was started in the country from January 16, 2021, although vaccination for people above 18 years of age was allowed from May 1, 2021. At present, more than 165 crore vaccine doses have been given in the country.

On Sunday, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that 75 percent of the adult population of the country has now been double vaccinated under the vaccination campaign started against the corona virus. He wrote in his tweet, with the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Prayas’, India has achieved the target of 75% of its adult population getting both doses of the vaccine. We are getting stronger in the fight against Corona. We have to follow all the rules and get the vaccine as soon as possible.
