The Omicron variant was found in patients 17 and 44 in Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, 37 in Malappuram and 44 in Thrissur.

Couple returned from Uganda and daughter Omicron infected
The couple and their 13-year-old elder daughter, who returned from Phaltan, Uganda in Satara district on December 9, were found infected with the Omicron variant of Corona. His 5-year-old daughter also has corona, but does not have the variant Omicron. The state health department said that samples were sent to the lab after husband (35), wife (33), elder daughter (13) and younger daughter (5) were found to be corona infected.

16 school students corona infected in Navi Mumbai
16 students of a school located in Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai have been admitted to the care center in Vashi after being found corona infected.
