Spitta | Ways to Kill ‘em Visual | Whips & Kicks

The homie Spitta hits us with another visual from his mixtape with DJ Drama, Verde Terrace. Like I’ve said before, there isn’t another hip hop artist more genuinely into whips than my boy Curren$y.

Muscle Monday | ’70 Barracuda

Muscle Monday | ’70 Barracuda

Shooting a classic Plymouth yesterday definitely inspired our first Mopar-based Muscle Monday. In my opinion, Mopars are cool but only when modified. Google a ’68 Barracuda and a ’68 Chevelle and you’ll see what I’m talking about. The ’70 Cuda is a highly-regarded ride, in the past 10 years their value has increased signifigantly which if you watch Barrett Jackson then you already know. This prestine Plymouth is a former SEMA build and has everything you’d ever want in a muscle car. Check out the full article from Hot Rod Magazine here.

Sunday’s Shoot – Preview

We just got back from Athens, GA, on the UGA campus where we shot our Logo tee for the Lookbook. We’ll post pics of the shoot and of my boy Luke’s dope yellow ‘Cuda later this week!

Meanwhile on the West Coast, my biz partner was doing some pretty big things himself, more on that soon! Like I’ve said before, YES we work on Sundays!

How to Make it in America | Luis Guzman!

This has nothing to do with cars but then again, we like other ish too! One of the shows I follow is HBO’s How to Make it in America. I’ve only been to NYC twice and both times I was mind-f’d by the culture and I only experienced a tiny percentage of what the city has to offer. When HTMIIA first aired I was toying with the idea of starting a clothing line so I can definitely relate to their struggles. This is just a fun clip following Luis Guzman around the LES (Lower East Side) with music by Duck Sauce and gang of random cameos.

Carma Brand Spotlight | ‘Shop Dog’

The ‘Shop Dog’ shirt has received quite a bit of attention since our launch and is definitely one of our most popular designs. Numerous publications and blogs have shown interest and even a certain well-known hip-hop artist texted me requesting one for himself. Every time I wear it people come right up and ask about it unlike any other shirt in the line. That’s part of the inspiration, two things that can induce someone to drop their inhibitions and walk up to a total stranger are custom cars and dogs. And even though the two are seldom paired, we thought it would be dope to have both on a T-shirt. (Continue reading after the jump).
