We don’t hide the fact that we enjoy visuals featuring custom cars and the fact that Drake’s ‘The Motto’ is our unofficial wake your ass up and brush your teeth song makes this a hot video to us. Props to Drake (and the directors, Lamar Taylor & Hyghly Alleyne) for not only featuring the Bay Area’s car culture, but giving Mac Dre’s mom a piece at the beginning and even throwing E-40 in there for a Cameo!

The official Gold Rush Rally route was released today and they’re hitting both coasts in 2012! The Rally jumps off in Los Angeles and ends in Miami (with a short plane ride in between). GR4 is taking a giant leap this year with the new route and we’re looking forward to not only seeing what kind of rides the additional routes will bring but also being apart of this awesome event! Stay tuned for more details!
We stopped by the KewlRides / United States Marine Corps 8th Annual Car Show & Toy Drive and the turnout was definitely worth hanging out for a while. From new school Mopars to old school classics, there was literally something for everyone on deck.

We’re not Exotic car groupies by far but seeing the Aventador in person is breathtaking and you simply cannot deny its presence. The body lines are more reminiscent of a fighter jet than a car and the matte pearl white paint and black wheels really took it to the next level.

A diverse collection of cars for sure. Click below for more coverage!
SEMA was packed this year with First and Fifth Generation Camaros and a particular gunmetal-and-green ’69 really stood out to us and we were hoping it would get a proper shoot at some point. Thankfully, Oracle Lighting hooked up with one of the top automotive photographers in the game, Webb Bland, and he killed it as usual. Both cars are an excellent representation of what a custom Camaro should look like – neither are too overdone and have all the right additions. Check out more from Oracle Lighting’s shoot on Webb Bland’s new site here!
When custom car culture collides with the mainstream it’s always exciting. High-end wheel company, D2FORGED, had an Aston Martin Vantage with their CV2 wheels featured on a recent episode of WWE in NYC at the famous Madison Square Garden. Although we stopped watching wrestling years ago, this is still very cool and great for custom car culture. We’ve seen pictures of this particular Aston before on L4P and we must say the CV2s are a PERFECT fit. Check D2′s post here for more.
