Two of Telangana’s Omicron infected have returned to ‘declared risk’ countries. One of the patients found in Karnataka is a traveler from Britain. Five other two are attached to educational institutions. Their travel details are under investigation. The Omicron variant was found in patients 17 and 44 in Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, 37 in Malappuram and 44 in Thrissur.

8 new cases were found in Maharashtra. Omicron was found in a Uganda-returned couple and their 13-year-old daughter in Satara, western Maharashtra. His 6-year-old daughter also has corona, but Omicron has not been confirmed in it.

Of these, two patients 17 and 44 years old are from Thiruvananthapur. A 37-year-old man is infected in Malapparam and a 49-year-old man in Thrissur district.

Couple returned from Uganda and daughter Omicron infected

The couple and their 13-year-old elder daughter, who returned from Phaltan, Uganda in Satara district on December 9, were found infected with the Omicron variant of Corona. His 5-year-old daughter also has corona, but does not have the variant Omicron. The state health department said that samples were sent to the lab after husband (35), wife (33), elder daughter (13) and younger daughter (5) were found to be corona infected.

16 school students corona infected in Navi Mumbai

16 students of a school located in Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai have been admitted to the care center in Vashi after being found corona infected. Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) officials said that all these students are from class 8 to 11. The father of one of them had returned from Qatar on 9 December. Corona infection was not found in his investigation, while during the investigation of the family, the student of son 11 was found to be infected.
