In view of the increase in the cases of corona virus infection in the state, the Maharashtra government has limited the number of people gathering in open or closed places to 50. Earlier, 100 persons were allowed in the marriage ceremony or social, cultural, political and religious gathering in closed places and 250 in open places.

In view of the sudden increase in the cases of Kovid in 14 cities of eight states in the country, the central government has become alert. The government has written a letter to the eight states of Jharkhand, West Bengal, Delhi, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Karnataka, asking Jharkhand to follow the instructions given to prevent corona.

In a letter written by Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan, these states have been advised to increase corona testing, strengthen hospital level preparedness, speed up vaccination and increase coverage. The cities about which the Center has expressed concern include Ranchi, Kolkata, Gurugram, New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Surat, Chennai, Bengaluru, Thane, Pune, Mumbai and Nagpur.

Now corona infection is spreading rapidly in Jharkhand. On Thursday, a total of 482 new corona infected were found in the state. In Ranchi district, 246 new infected were found on Thursday, due to which the number of active cases has reached 564.
