The government has written a letter to the eight states of Jharkhand, West Bengal, Delhi, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Karnataka, asking Jharkhand to follow the instructions given to prevent corona.
In a letter written by Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan, these states have been advised to increase corona testing, strengthen hospital level preparedness, speed up vaccination and increase coverage. The cities about which the Center has expressed concern include Ranchi, Kolkata, Gurugram, New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Surat, Chennai, Bengaluru, Thane, Pune, Mumbai and Nagpur.
